Who we are

Best of Chengdu publishes independent, firsthand guides for visiting Chengdu, Sichuan — the food, attractions, and experiences we genuinely recommend. We are a static informational website. You can reach us via our contact address.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or process any personal information about our visitors. This site has no account registration, no forms that request personal data, and no comments section — we never ask for your name, email, or phone number.

The email newsletter form on this page does not currently connect to a mailing service. Until it does, no address you type is transmitted or stored.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics (via gtag.js) to understand which pages are useful and how visitors find us. Google Analytics stores cookies and may process anonymized usage data under Google's privacy policy. It is configured without advertising features; we do not use it to build visitor profiles for marketing.

Hosting and edge logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard server logs (such as IP address, user-agent, and requested URL) for security and to keep the site running. This data is used by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy, not by us.

External links

Many pages link to external websites — attraction official sites, ticket platforms (Trip.com, Klook), and reference sources such as Wikipedia. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
